Easter Bunny Revisited

Friends really do mark the highlights of my life, day to day, as month to month. This Easter weekend was spent in London with two of my dearest...

...(bar the obvious exception), and saw us making the most of this pagan festival in the happy company of a visiting pair.
Monty and Senior, who cannot be referred to directly as a result of my witness protection programme, are a couple about whom I've heard a great deal, but never had the chance to meet. I'm glad that this is now no longer the case, as I'm feeling chuffed about having been introduced to such great people; it's not all that often that I get on with and feel comfortable around both halves of a pair, but this time, it was pretty much a good thing all the way. I'm grateful to all of the above for a memorable, and slightly crazy break from the pressures of work, and only wish that this had been a longer holiday.
Weekends like this do a great deal to remind me how much I prefer to spend my time doing nothing or everything in the company of good friends, and much as I treasure my solitude, some of the best times I've had have been passed doing simple, wholesome things with the bag of nuts that I consider my closest companions.
Well, the sight of Addenbrooke's Hospital puts my train just a little way outside the centre of Cambridge, so by the time I finish off here, I'll be re-institutionalised, done with this Easter getaway, and just aching to get back to work as soon as possible. Err, yeah. Here's to next time.

Happy Easter all...
