short entry, proud weekend
G'night
Took some crazy pictures at Pride, but we've all seen the outfits, which leaves the tame, but most important ones; my partners in crime:
It rained a'plenty during the afternoon. Bad? Heck no - we danced in the rain in front of the BBC Radio 1 stage; Boy George and Judge Jules were mixing, and it was superb. Great weekend on the whole, and it took the edge off my sadness at leaving Poland. Nonetheless, I'm grateful to be back in the laid-back peacefulness of my favourite University town.

Looks like fun... I wanna come next time! ;)
Where are all the men in thongs? I demand men in thongs!
Hey... everybody deserves a right to be shallow once in awhile... ;)
Naturally, but I'm afraid that I can only disappoint, as my pictures were limited to either crazed drag-queens on floats, the asian contingent (traditionally dressed, that is) and a handful of unusually decorated vehicles. I suck at people watching, but that's good for the husband's peace of mind. It's a shame that the weather wasn't perfect, but the mood was buoyant; it could have been thundering and I'd still have been happy, as all of my dearest were in tow which made for plenty of mirth..!
I second that, Pete: I'd love to be a part of Alastair's crowd. Even if just for one day.
husband? You're married? ;) Wow... it's like a shock a minute on your blog!
Mmm, sorry about that; the nurse who administers my mind-controlling medication is on holiday, and I'm lax with the dosage; yes - to a kilt wearing highlander. Grrr.
Aww, guys, it really isn't all fun and games over here (once a year maybe) - plus we have neither the weather of New Mexico or California to suffer under. Oh wait, yes we do - it's only rained properly about four times in the last two months... but it's not usual ;) Enjoy Santa Fe!
No wonder you're pro marriage... ;)
