While I can only hazard that the impact of this piece is entirely different to that of Marsyas, it seemed to please a lot of people in a way which more abstract pieces mightn't have... I wish I hadn't missed the last one.
I'm glad that you enjoyed it more the second time around. Better enjoyed in company, I feel. Crazy man :)
