Apparently Apple has it in mind to open a shop in London. Yay, if only so that I can see the unaffordably wonderful, full product line in person. Of course, they chose an odd place to open it; a marginally less stuffy bit of street would better suit their corporate image, but hey, re-model Regent Street from the inside out, why not? Welcome to the United Kingdom.

Is Leeds not in the UK, then?

Damn - the Apple Store in Leeds isn't listed on the Apple website, according to which there is currently only one Apple Store outside America, in Japan. So the Leeds one must be an imposter... I've been duped! (Not that I've ever bought anything there.)

Think I'll go and find a quiet place to hide away in.

*Slinks off, hanging his head in shame.*

Southerners aren't all as unaware as you seem to think they are.

What is Leeds?

Apples are highly overrated.

Peaches and mangoes on the other hand...

Not to rub it in, but I've been lucky enough to visit two Apple stores here in The States. iDrool.

I've been to the one on Prince's Street, NYC, so far; I liked what I saw, but I was even more interested in their general floor design and the glass stairs and walk[ytalky]ways.

I'll be heading to the Grove Mall in L.A. at the end of the month, where I'm told there exists another of these elusive outlets, so my iEnvy will be short lived.

Let's do ice-cream if you're in the neighbourhood ;)

I think you'll find that London belongs to me.
