maid of honour
I know she's like god to some people, but isn't 145 quid a bit steep for the cheapest tickets to Madonna's Reinvention Tour in August? It could well be her last big jaunt - she's hinted as much - and I've always thought it'd be good to see her on stage, but that's a lot of money for most people, let alone a student.
If I were a real die-hard, there'd be no hesitation, I suppose; I don't love any popular icon that much.

It's very steep, I agree but rumours have it that she will perform her old songs such as Like a virgin...etc. Of course, those "oldies" will be re-invented!
The Eagles have had their Last Reunion Tour four times now...
What if she's more trustworthy than The Eagles? The problem is that a huge number of tickets have been sucked up by slime-eaters for re-sale on auction sites like eBay, where there are dozens available for a mere £450. I'm just jealous because I'm not that shrewd.
She's the only person I would shell out that kind of money for. Considering I don't go to church, I suppose paying £98 to see the closest thing to God is worth it for me.
Fair enough, though you can actually see me for free.
I'd gathered that you and Ross had acquired a pair of tickets from the lady; at least you paid the legit price for the seats; you should get a pretty good spot, damn you.
lol @ first line
I'm such a geek.
