Goodness, I guess Cambridge is the coldest place on earth. We just got a tiny bit of sleet (and I'm not even sure about that.) One more reason to prefer Oxford to the Other Place... ;)
Great idea to take the photo into the light coming from a car's headlights - I managed to capture merely a few stranded white dots that could be pretty much anything on a black background! I'll have to remember your technique in the future.
My BF and I were in Cambridge almost exactly one year ago (I'm originally from Ohio as well). It was cold and rainy, but thank goodness there was no snow. Very beautiful nonetheless.
I miss the snow. Beautiful.
