Georgie does the US Senate

| | Comments (7)

Whatever your feelings are for British MP George Galloway, you have to admire his address to the US Senate today. Address? More of a dressing down. It's forty-seven minutes of delicious politicking and affrontery, and half the fun lies in the faces of the reporters sitting behind him; "Oh no he didn't!"

He cracked me up, but you're right; not as much as the expressions on the faces of said reporters. I particularly enjoyed the part where even the Republican started smiling during the rant.

He had the insouciance of a big-bosomed starlet leaning down to lecture small children. While perhaps dishonest, it was refreshing.

the senate USED to be the part of the legislative branch you could be the most proud of in our gov't ... since w. took over .. it needs to get a good dressing down.
